Albina One Opens Its Doors
Albina One, a new 94-unit housing project, opened its doors in Portland's Eliot neighborhood, developed by Albina Vision Trust in partnership with Edlen & Co. This family-oriented project specifically targets young Portlanders working in the trades, with 32 units reserved for households making 30% or less of the Area Median Income. Support services from the Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center and Rosemary Anderson High School will aid residents through education and career placement. The project boasts amenities such as community rooms, secure bike parking, and a large outdoor plaza with gardens and play areas. Located near the Rose Quarter Transit Center, it ensures excellent transit access while being close to schools, parks, and grocery stores.
All units adhere to the PHB's N/NE Preference Policy, prioritizing applicants with ties to the area. Albina One marks the 12th project funded by the Metro Housing Bond, contributing to over 2,154 affordable homes in Portland. The design was executed by LEVER Architecture, with Colas Construction serving as the general contractor.
