The Development Services Center in Portland will provide in-person services on Tuesdays from 8 a. m. to 4 p. m. and Thursdays from 8 a.

m. to noon, necessitating pre-scheduled appointments. The online permit portal, Development Hub PDX, will undergo maintenance on June 30 from 4:30 to 7 p. m. , during which time it will be unavailable.

Customers can continue to submit permit applications under the current fee structure until 11:59 p. m. on June 30, as the new fee schedule takes effect on July 1. Many building permit services are available online 24 hours a day, enhancing accessibility for users. This service adjustment reflects Portland’s commitment to improving the efficiency of its permitting processes for residents and businesses.
