Short dogs, assemble! 'Avengers'-themed Corgi Beach Takeover on Oregon Coast

Seaside, Oregon, will host the Corgi Beach Takeover on Saturday, drawing over a thousand corgis and their owners. The event aims to raise funds for the Oregon Humane Society, with activities beginning at 10 a. m. A costume contest with an ‘Avengers’ theme will take place at 11 a. m.

, featuring categories for heroes, villains, dynamic duos, and open costumes. Registered participants can compete in corgi races starting at 12:30 p. m. , with limited spots available for sign-up at the OHS tent. Additional attractions include a silent auction and raffle, with the event wrapping up at 4 p.
