In-person Services at Portland Development Services Center Limited to Two Days

Portland, ORLocal News

The Development Services Center in Portland restricts in-person services to Tuesdays and Thursdays, requiring pre-scheduled appointments for most interactions. Customers can access many building permit services online 24/7, ensuring minimal disruption. On June 30, the Development Hub PDX will undergo maintenance from 4:30 to 7 p. m. to accommodate fee changes that take effect on July 1.

During this time, the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system will also be down. Customers can submit permit applications under the existing fee structure until 11:59 p. m. on June 30, providing a buffer for those needing immediate services. The updates are part of ongoing efforts to enhance service delivery and adapt to evolving fee structures.

This initiative reflects the city's commitment to improving the permitting process for residents and businesses.
