Puget Sound Energy (PSE) plans a power outage on June 5, 2025, in Port Orchard to upgrade the electric system. The outage will affect Fireweed St and surrounding areas, lasting up to eight hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. PSE has taken steps to minimize the impact on residents, acknowledging the inconvenience of being without power. Residents should prepare by charging devices, unplugging electronics, and ensuring contingency plans for medical equipment are in place.
