Public Notice Road Work and Temporary Traffic Disruption (SW Birch Rd and Sidney Rd SW)

Scheduled road work will take place at the intersection of SW Birch Rd and Sidney Rd SW from November 24 to November 25, 2025, during the hours of 7:00 p. m. to 5:30 a. m. each night.

The project entails the installation of approximately 90 linear feet of storm line and a new catch basin, connecting to the existing catch basin. Traffic control measures will be implemented to minimize disruptions, and motorists should anticipate only minor delays. Access to local businesses and residences will remain available throughout the work period. This initiative is part of the Sidney Road Non-Motorized Improvements, which receive funding from Washington’s Climate Commitment Act, aimed at reducing climate pollution. Residents and motorists are reminded to exercise caution and reduce speed in the work zone.
