The City of Port Orchard has announced a public notice regarding the CareNet Boutique remodel at 381 Tremont Street West. This project entails converting an unheated garage into heated boutique and storage space, along with the addition of a covered porch. The public comment period is open from July 21 to August 4, 2025, enabling community members to express their views on the application. Submitted by CareNet of Puget Sound on June 9, 2025, the application achieved technical completeness on July 3, 2025. Notably, the project is exempt from SEPA review under Washington Administrative Code, streamlining the approval process.

Residents can request notifications of any hearings and copies of the decision once made. Appeals against the Type II administrative decision can be filed with the Hearing Examiner within 14 days of the notice of decision. The public can examine the application file at the Permit Center by appointment.
