6 kids hurt, woman in critical condition after bus crash in Phoenix

A school bus crash in Phoenix resulted in six students sustaining minor injuries and one woman being critically injured. The bus, carrying 56 passengers from St. Louis the King Catholic School, was involved in the collision with a Kia Sorento around 9:30 a. m. on a rainy Tuesday.

The students, in third to fifth grades, were en route to a field trip at iFly in Scottsdale when the accident occurred near 16th Street and Glendale Avenue. Emergency responders evaluated all children at the scene, confirming that none required hospitalization. The critically injured woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Witnesses reported extensive damage to the Kia Sorento, which was loaded onto a tow truck. Investigators are currently working to uncover the details surrounding the crash.
