Company announces expansion to add 500 jobs making AI-driven data hub coolers in Mesa

XNRGY Climate Systems, a Canadian company, is expanding its U. S. headquarters in Mesa by constructing a new 330,000-square-foot facility for AI-enabled air-cooled chillers. This expansion will create 500 jobs, raising the total employment in Mesa to 1,400. The chillers will enhance operational efficiency for data centers, which have been criticized for their environmental impact.

CEO Wais Jalali stated that the company's growth reflects the increasing demand for their thermal management systems. The facility will include a $10 million environmental testing chamber to rigorously test each chiller under various conditions. Mesa's data center market has grown significantly, contributing to the local economy despite concerns over resource consumption. The new facility is expected to produce approximately 3,000 chillers annually. Mayor Mark Freeman commended the expansion for providing high-quality jobs to the community.
