Phoenix, AZLocal News

Restock Ave, a streetwear and sneaker shop in Phoenix, was the target of a smash-and-grab burglary on July 24. Suspects used a stolen vehicle to crash into the store, gaining access to merchandise. Store owner Chris Sotelo received an alert from the alarm system and discovered the vehicle inside after reviewing the camera footage. Police responded to reports of the alarm and found that the suspects had left before their arrival. Sotelo estimates that repairs will take two to three months, significantly impacting back-to-school sales.

He emphasized the importance of this season for the business, stating, “It’s definitely going to set us back a little bit. ” While the physical store is closed, Sotelo confirmed that the online store remains operational. He plans to keep customers updated through social media platforms regarding the status of the in-person store.
