Broken fridges, bad plumbing among violations at Phoenix-area restaurants
Maricopa County health inspectors identified 13 health code violations across three Phoenix restaurants during the week of June 16, highlighting significant concerns in food safety practices. Korean BBQ & Hot Pot faced five priority violations, including improper food storage and inadequate hot-holding temperatures. Lolo's Chicken & Waffles received four priority violations, mainly due to cross-contamination risks and plumbing issues. Morning Squeeze was cited for multiple violations, including improper storage of raw ingredients. In total, inspectors reviewed over 1,530 food-serving facilities that week, with approximately 375 achieving "A" ratings.
