Both senators expressed alarm over increasing antisemitism, referencing a recent violent attack on a Jewish gathering in Colorado.

McCormick condemned intimidation tactics witnessed during pro-Palestinian protests, emphasizing the need for institutions to combat antisemitism. Fetterman acknowledged the moral complexity of the Israel-Hamas conflict, stating he feels hostility for his support of Israel. They agreed on the importance of the Ukraine conflict, showcasing their collaborative efforts despite differing party affiliations. This event is part of the Senate Project, aiming to foster dialogue amidst political divisions.
