Morris County Officers Receive Scouting Americas Lifetime Achievement Awards

The Patriots’ Path Council recognized Warden Christopher Klein and Corporal Erica Valvano at the Morris County Lifetime Achievement Awards Dinner for their exceptional community service on June 18. Warden Klein, who began his career in 1999, currently oversees the Morris County Correctional Facility, managing over 180 staff members. Corporal Valvano, with over 21 years of experience, has focused on improving community relations and addressing social issues through innovative programs. Both honorees exemplify the principles of the Scout Oath and Law, demonstrating leadership and commitment to public service. The annual event highlights the contributions of local citizens, emphasizing the role of Scouting in fostering community values.

The Patriots’ Path Council engages over 5,000 adult volunteers to support more than 12,000 Scouts across various counties. Recognizing such individuals underscores the importance of community role models in shaping positive outcomes. Their achievements serve as inspiration for others in Morris County and beyond.
