Parsippany, NJLocal News

Nuvvon announced a major breakthrough in solid-state battery scalability, preparing to launch its 1Ah and 5Ah lithium-ion pouch cells this fall. The company’s Chief Operating Officer, Jonathan Lex, highlighted the importance of materials science in achieving this leap from laboratory prototypes to market-ready products. The solid-state cells feature over 2000 charge cycles and can operate in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +60°C. CEO Dr. Simon Madgwick stated that the transition to a larger facility has significantly accelerated advancements in production capabilities.

Nuvvon’s unique compressionless cell design is compatible with existing lithium-ion manufacturing processes. Initial samples will be available for testing by potential partners, and the company is also developing specialized variants for fast charging and extreme temperature applications. This scalability positions Nuvvon as a competitive player in next-generation energy storage solutions. Interested parties can contact Jonathan Lex for evaluation opportunities.
