Provident Bank Donates 5,000 to Support Parsippanys Summer Concert Series

Provident Bank donated $5,000 to the Township of Parsippany to support the Summer Music & Movie Nights series, which offers free family entertainment every Thursday from June 26 to September 4. The donation was presented by bank officials and accepted by Mayor James Barberio, who thanked the bank for its commitment to local programming. The series will kick off with a screening of the animated movie Despicable Me, followed by a lineup of concerts and films at Veterans Memorial Park. Events will run from 7:30 p. m.

to 9:00 p. m. each Thursday evening, featuring local musical acts. In case of inclement weather, updates will be provided via the township's official website and Facebook page. Additionally, the Parsippany Farmers Market will operate every Friday from June 6 to September 12, further enhancing community engagement.

The series not only promotes entertainment but also strengthens community bonds, as local residents gather for shared experiences. Provident Bank and Gilead are proud sponsors, continuing their investment in the well-being of the Parsippany community.
