NewBridge JobsPlus Class of 2025 Takes Charge of Their Futures

NewBridge JobsPlus celebrated the achievements of nearly two dozen graduates at a ceremony held at the Morristown Beard School. Abdullah Jan, who overcame personal challenges to become a certified medical assistant, described the program as transformative. Kylie Capavanni, honored as Associate of the Year, plans to attend County College of Morris with a $1,500 scholarship for social work. Angel Padilla-Acevedo, who left high school early, is now on track for nursing school thanks to support from the program. Other graduates shared inspiring stories, including Leilani Reyes, who turned her life around after legal troubles.

The event saw over 100 attendees, including family and friends, celebrating the Class of 2025's success. Scholarships awarded included the $1,500 James Ryan Memorial Scholarship and the $1,000 Alumni Appreciation Scholarship. NewBridge JobsPlus has helped many young adults since its inception in 1983, providing them with the skills and support needed to succeed.
