Among the 22 students set to attend service academies are individuals from various towns, including Leila Galarza from Parsippany and Jessica Bao from Chatham.

Additionally, Kyle Ramos and John Bettenbender will join preparatory schools, indicating a strong commitment to military service among local youth. Sherrill nominated Enois Maceira Crespo for the Merchant Marine Academy, which allows nominations from across the state.
