Goth and Industrial Fans Converge in Parsippany for Dark Force Fest 2025

Dark Force Fest 2025 drew thousands of gothic and industrial music enthusiasts to the Sheraton Parsippany Hotel over the weekend. Attendees experienced over 30 live musical performances and explored a marketplace with more than 100 alternative vendors celebrating goth culture. Organizer Jet Berelson noted the festival's growth since its inception as Dark Side of the Con in 2018, emphasizing its community-driven nature. Walter Nieczkowski, a Parsippany resident, expressed appreciation for the inclusive atmosphere, where individuals felt free to express themselves without judgment. Economic Development Committee Chairman Frank Cahill highlighted the festival's contribution to the local economy, supporting hotels and small businesses in the area.

The venue's castle-like architecture added to the event's unique vibe, making it a fitting location for the festival's themes. The festival not only showcased music but also featured dance parties and expert panels on various topics related to goth culture. As the weekend concluded, attendees left with merchandise, new friendships, and lasting memories.
