Par-Troy West Little League (PTWLL) will host a Challenger League event on June 22, celebrating inclusion and community through baseball. Originally set for May 4, the event was postponed due to rain. The day will kick off at 2:00 p. m. with PTWLL buddies assisting Challenger League players, who benefit from dedicated volunteers helping them swing bats and run bases.

An exhibition game at 4:00 p. m. will showcase these players, featuring custom rules to maximize fun and engagement. The Challenger League, founded in 1986, provides children with disabilities the opportunity to participate in organized baseball. The Morris County Challenger Little League, established in 1999, has become an essential program, fostering joy and sportsmanship.

Most players are from Morris County, and the league is open to children aged 5 to 21. This annual event unites families and community members, reinforcing the unifying power of baseball.
