Scarlett Lucchese, an 8th grader from Parsippany, captured a national title at the USMC Women’s National Championship after earning a medal at the Tallinn Open in Estonia. Competing in the largest wrestling tournament in Europe, she faced opponents from 41 countries, showcasing her talent on an international stage. In Spokane, she entered the 14U division at 135 pounds as the third seed and overcame the No. 2 seed in the semifinals before defeating the top seed in the finals. Her back-to-back performances highlight her dedication and skill, as she trains at Scorpions Wrestling School under Coach Omar Feliciano.

A three-time consecutive New Jersey Girls State Champion, Scarlett builds her legacy while inspiring other young athletes. Her achievements exemplify the growing prominence of girls' wrestling, especially in New Jersey. The support from her local community has been crucial in her development as a competitive wrestler.
