Crash at Littleton Road and Route 10 West Leads to Traffic Summons

Parsippany, NJLocal News

A two-vehicle accident occurred on April 29, 2025, at the intersection of Littleton Road and Route 10 West in Parsippany. Michael Kosch, 65, of Pennsylvania, was driving a commercial truck when Jasmine W. Cheng, 22, of Morris Plains, made a right turn on red, colliding with the truck's trailer. Kosch asserted he had a green light and could not avoid the impact, while Cheng believed she stopped at the red light and was in her lane. Police noted tire marks where Cheng’s vehicle came to rest, approximately 8 to 10 feet from the intersection.

Officers concluded that Cheng’s turn contributed to the accident, leading to a summons for delaying traffic. The Mount Tabor Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene due to a fluid spill. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and both vehicles were towed by Corigliano Towing. This incident underscores the importance of adhering to traffic signals, especially at busy intersections.
