Parsippanys Own Chris Fitzpatrick to Take the Stage at TEDxMontclair

Chris Fitzpatrick, a resident of Mount Tabor, has been selected as a speaker for TEDxMontclair, scheduled for June 24 from 6:00 p. m. to 9:30 p. m. at Montclair Mezzanine.

His presentation, titled “The Urgency of Mentorship,” will delve into the importance of mentorship in addressing poverty and facilitating economic mobility, drawing from a deeply emotional experience during a job interview. Fitzpatrick is one of eight speakers chosen from a competitive pool of over 100 applicants for this prestigious event. Videos of the speakers' talks will be uploaded to the TED YouTube channel shortly after the event concludes. Tickets for the TEDxMontclair event will be available starting April 28, 2025. The TEDx program is designed to promote local, self-organized events that aim to spark meaningful discussions.

This specific event underscores the value of mentorship in the community, aiming to inspire and empower attendees.
