The Parsippany Education Foundation presented a donation of $26,743. 20 to the Parsippany-Troy Hills School District, funding 22 grants designed to enhance student learning. Vice President Tara Snellings presented the check during the Board of Education meeting on November 13. The grants include an Illustrator Residency at Lake Parsippany School and a One School, One Book literacy initiative at Littleton School. These projects aim to spark curiosity and creativity while addressing diverse educational needs across the district.
The funded programs will support literacy in math and reading, assist special-needs students, and foster social-emotional learning. Snellings emphasized the Foundation's mission to build community through meaningful learning experiences. All 14 schools in the district will benefit from these grants in the upcoming school year. The Foundation encourages community involvement and partnership opportunities through its website.
