On November 20, at 8:58 p. m. , Parsippany-Troy Hills Fire District 6 was dispatched to a fire at 100 Vail Road, Vail Gardens. Chief 6 confirmed a working fire in a second-floor apartment, prompting a rapid response from District 6, Lake Hiawatha, and Parsippany Fire District 4. Firefighters managed to control the blaze within ten minutes of arriving on the scene.

Thankfully, no injuries occurred; however, two residents were permanently displaced due to fire damage. The Boonton Fire Department provided mutual aid as the Rapid Intervention Crew, ensuring firefighter safety. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, with officials yet to disclose any details. The Parsippany Police Department and local first aid squads assisted on site. The coordinated response highlights the commitment of local agencies to community safety.
