American Legion Unit 249 will host a festive "Breakfast with Santa" on December 7 from 11:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m. at their post located at 91 North Beverwyck Road in Lake Hiawatha.

The event is designed for children and families in the Parsippany-Troy Hills community and will offer holiday-themed crafts and games. Attendees are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys or a $6 donation, with a focus on toys for older children aged 12 to 18 due to high demand. Guests will enjoy a warm breakfast of pancakes, sausage, and bacon, among other items. An event coordinator stated, "Our goal is to spread holiday cheer while also supporting families who might be struggling this season. " This initiative aims to foster community spirit while providing essential support to those in need.
