Holiday Cheer Returns with Craftsmas at The Stickley Museum

The Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms will host two free CraftsMas Open Houses on December 6 and 13, from noon to 4 p. m. , showcasing holiday decorations and activities. Visitors can explore the Log House, adorned with period-inspired holiday décor, and learn about its historical significance from knowledgeable docents. Completed in 1911, the Log House represents a key architectural achievement of the Arts and Crafts movement in the United States.

The Craftsman Shop will feature a range of seasonal gifts, including contemporary Arts and Crafts items and custom jewelry. Guests will have the opportunity to create clay tiles inspired by winter colors and textures at the Education Center, and capture memories at a Crafts-Mas Photo Station. A 50/50 raffle will support the museum's preservation efforts, enhancing its role as a cultural landmark. Additionally, guided Log House Holiday Tours will occur every weekend starting Thanksgiving weekend, focusing on early 20th-century holiday traditions. Regular admission fees apply for the tours, providing deeper insight into Gustav Stickley’s seasonal celebrations.
