Parsippany Woman Charged with DWI Following Crash in Hanover

Alysha Bailey, a 23-year-old Parsippany resident, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a crash on Park Avenue in Hanover Township. On October 4, Officer Brian Morrisroe arrived at the scene and observed signs of impairment in Bailey. Police discovered open containers of alcohol within her vehicle, prompting field sobriety tests that determined she could not operate a motor vehicle safely. Bailey faces multiple charges, including driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit breath samples. She was later released to a responsible party pending her court appearance.

The incident raises awareness about impaired driving risks in the area, particularly among young adults. Local authorities emphasize the importance of responsible drinking and safe driving practices. This case adds to the growing concern over alcohol-related incidents on the roads.
