The Parsippany Fire Departments marked a significant milestone on September 20 by hosting the Quadruple Wetdown at 6 Century Drive, celebrating the addition of four new fire apparatus. Hundreds of residents and firefighters gathered to witness the dedication of Engine 34, Tower 6, Engine 15, and Tower 11, showcasing advancements in safety and firefighting technology. The event featured food, music, and activities for families, with souvenir mugs and t-shirts available for purchase to support the departments. A traditional wetdown ceremony saw neighboring fire companies spraying water over the new trucks, honoring their service. One organizer stated, “This is about more than just new trucks; it’s about protecting our community and honoring the men and women who step up to serve.

” The Parsippany Fire Departments expressed gratitude to sponsors Absolute Fire Protection and E-One Fire Apparatus, who contributed to the event.
