Parsippany, NJLocal News

The Parsippany Lions Club will host a community blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross on December 13, from 9:00 a. m. to 2:00 p. m. at the Parsippany Main Library.

This event is by appointment only, and donors can register online or through a QR code. Each donation can save up to three lives, highlighting the urgent need for blood as it is required every two seconds in the United States. “Your kindness could be the reason someone gets a second chance,” a representative from the Lions Club remarked. The drive is supported by local organizations, including the Parsippany Leo Club and Kiwanis, emphasizing community collaboration. Residents are encouraged to sign up early and participate in this life-saving act of service.

The Parsippany Lions Club aims to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and its impact on local lives. This initiative reflects ongoing efforts to address blood shortages and engage the community in health-related activities.
