Parsippany Senior Center to Host Presentation on Medicare Open Enrollment

Mayor James Barberio and the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills will host a Medicare Open Enrollment presentation on October 22 at the Parsippany Senior Center. The session, starting at 10:00 a. m. , will provide insights into Medicare Prescription Drug Plans and Medicare Advantage Plans. Residents will receive valuable guidance to help them prepare for their 2026 Medicare coverage decisions.

Additionally, the program will present NJ SAVE, an initiative aimed at reducing costs for eligible individuals regarding premiums and prescription drugs. Registration is required, and residents can sign up at the Office on Aging or call for further information. This event is supported by NORWESCAP and AmeriCorps Seniors, both dedicated to community service. Medicare Open Enrollment runs annually from October 15 to December 7, making the timing of this presentation crucial for residents. Understanding the available options can significantly impact individuals' healthcare costs and coverage choices.
