Lake Hiawatha Seniors Hosting Casino Bus Trip Fundraiser

The Lake Hiawatha Seniors are organizing a bus trip to Wind Creek Casino on September 15, 2025, priced at $35 per person, which includes $25 in casino slot money. The bus will depart from the Knoll Park parking lot at 9:15 a. m. and return around 5:00 p. m.

Reservations must be made by September 3, with checks payable to the Lake Hiawatha Seniors. Vicki Rice, the trip coordinator, stated that such events help bring the community together while supporting senior programs. Membership to the Lake Hiawatha Seniors is open to those aged 55 and older, and they meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month for various activities. The club aims to keep local seniors active and informed on current issues. Fundraisers like this one are essential for sustaining programs that enrich the lives of area seniors.

The trip welcomes anyone aged 18 or older, promoting inclusivity in community activities.
