Parsippany Hills High School Announces Freshman Orientation and Parent Night

Parsippany Hills High School has announced its Freshman Orientation and Freshman Parent Night, set for August 27. Freshman Orientation will occur from 8:30 a. m. to 11:45 a. m.

, giving students the opportunity to tour the school and meet staff. Parents are invited to the PHHS Auditorium at 6:00 p. m. for a session focused on resources and information for the upcoming school year. Families are urged to check their email for additional details regarding these events.

In a separate incident, Rockaway resident John W. Fessman was charged with driving while intoxicated after a late-night stop on July 26. Officer Alex Cavaluzzo observed Fessman making an improper turn and detected signs of impairment upon approach. He faces several charges, including refusal to submit breath samples and reckless driving, and is scheduled to appear in court on September 4. The court notes that the charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
