Parsippany Man Arrested After Road Rage Incident Involving Handgun

Marion Polo, a 36-year-old man from Parsippany, was arrested late Thursday night following a road rage incident in the Target parking lot in Fairfield. Police received a call regarding a dispute where Polo allegedly displayed a handgun. Officers located him shortly after near a Wawa, conducting a motor vehicle stop that resulted in the recovery of a black Sig Sauer handgun from his vehicle. Witnesses reported seeing Polo lift his shirt to show the firearm during the altercation. Additionally, officers detected a strong smell of alcohol and found an open bottle of vodka inside the car.

Polo refused to take a breath test, and officers concluded he was intoxicated. He faces multiple charges, including possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes and driving while intoxicated. Authorities confirmed Polo also had an outstanding warrant in Caldwell.
