Parsippany-Troy Hills has delayed the mailing of third-quarter property tax bills due to the New Jersey state government finalizing the tax rate later than usual on July 18. This delay affected the Morris County Board of Taxation's ability to certify the tax rate on time. To assist residents, the township has extended the grace period for tax payments to Friday, August 29, 2025. Any payments made after this date will incur interest charges retroactively from the original due date of August 1, 2025, in accordance with New Jersey statute N. J.

S. A. 54:4-67. Residents are encouraged to contact the Tax Collector’s Office at (973) 263-4252 for additional information. This situation underscores the importance of timely tax rate approvals by state officials.
