Nicole DellaFave Appointed to Board of Education

Nicole DellaFave was appointed to the Parsippany-Troy Hills Board of Education on July 31, filling the vacancy after Andy Choffo's resignation. During the special meeting, seven of the eight candidates interviewed, with the Board ultimately voting 6-2 in favor of DellaFave. A lifelong resident of Parsippany, she has 17 years of teaching experience in the district and currently manages finance at a local business. DellaFave has shown dedication to the community by serving as PTA Treasurer and actively participating in school committees. She emphasized her belief in student-first policies, aiming for collaboration and transparency in her role.

DellaFave's term is set to conclude on December 31, 2026, pending a criminal background check. The Board is composed of committed members focused on educational success, with DellaFave adding her insights and expertise. Her previous campaign for a Board seat in 2023 helped her connect with the community and understand the challenges of the school district.
