CCM and Table of Hope Host Annual Backpack Giveaway for Morris County Families

The County College of Morris (CCM) will host its annual Backpack Giveaway on August 15, aimed at helping families in Morris County prepare for the upcoming school year. This event, in partnership with Table of Hope, will occur from 1:00 p. m. to 2:30 p. m.

at CCM’s Randolph campus. Local residents are encouraged to pre-register, with backpacks containing essential school supplies available on a first-come, first-served basis. To prioritize safety and efficiency, attendees must remain in their vehicles, with no walk-ups allowed. This year marks the fifth iteration of the event, which highlights CCM's commitment to community engagement, alongside a Thanksgiving food distribution that serves over 600 families. Anthony J. Iacono stated that the partnership reflects their commitment to changing lives and strengthening communities. The event is made possible through collaboration with local leaders, law enforcement, corporate sponsors, and volunteers. Founded in 2011, Table of Hope is a nonprofit focused on reducing food insecurity and supporting educational needs in the region.
