CCM Dean Recognized for Outstanding Leadership, Service and Academic Achievement

Dr. Maria Isaza received the “Excellence in Community Engagement Award” from the Sloan Scholars Mentoring Network, acknowledging her significant contributions to community service. As dean of the School of Health Professions and Natural Sciences at County College of Morris, she leads initiatives that benefit over 20,000 individuals through the Morris County Organization for Hispanic Affairs. Immigrating from Colombia at 21, Isaza's academic journey began at CCM, where she advanced from adjunct faculty to dean. She emphasizes the importance of mentorship and community support in her personal and professional growth.

In addition to the recent award, her honors include the CCM Innovation Award and the Impact Award from the National Society of Leadership and Success. Dr. Anthony J.
