Parsippany Swears In Five New Police Cadets

Mayor James Barberio and Chief of Police Richard Pantina swore in five new police cadets in Parsippany on June 25. The recruits—Brandon Jasiecki, Gerald Breslauer, Dominick Stull, Corey Katzenberger, and Nathalia Giraldo-Garcia—are all lifelong residents of the township. Each cadet pledged an Oath of Allegiance, committing to uphold the Constitution and protect their community. Chief Pantina emphasized that joining the police force is a significant step towards community involvement. Mayor Barberio expressed pride in the recruits, remarking, “I am confident you will all be an amazing addition to our already stellar police force.

” The new cadets will embark on a rigorous 20-week training program at the police academy. Mayor Barberio offered them encouragement, saying, “Congratulations, and I’ll see you at Commencement! ” The ceremony reflects the town's commitment to strengthening its police force with local talent.
