On December 6, the Washington State Capitol will host its 36th annual tree-lighting ceremony at 6 p. m. , featuring the beloved Santa and Mrs. Claus, along with Lt. Gov.

Denny Heck and the Washington Middle School Bulldog Choir. The Department of Enterprise Services has beautifully decorated three noble fir trees, each over 17 feet tall, with a total of 1,600 lights.
