Raising Cane's opens first restaurant in Harrisburg area

Raising Cane's opened its first restaurant in the Harrisburg area on Tuesday at 5040 Jonestown Road in Colonial Commons shopping center. Operating hours are from 10 a. m. to 12 a. m.

Sunday through Thursday, and 10 a. m. to 2 a. m. on weekends.

The opening festivities included a "Lucky 20" drawing, allowing 20 customers to win free Cane's for a year, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a. m. featuring Central Dauphin High School cheerleaders and the Harrisburg Senators mascot, Rascal. The first 100 dine-in customers received a commemorative hat and a Box Comb card, adding excitement to the event. A check presentation to the Harrisburg Area Humane Society underscored the restaurant's community involvement.

Raising Cane's decorated its new location with memorabilia honoring Harrisburg, including items from the Pennsylvania state capitol building. This expansion marks a significant step for Raising Cane's in reaching more customers in the region.
