Driver wanted after allegedly injuring officer, nearly hitting another in York County

Police in York County are actively searching for a driver linked to an incident where an officer was injured and another narrowly missed being hit. This occurred around 10 p. m. on Monday after officers responded to a noise disturbance at the 100 block of Rose of Sharon Drive in Etters. Upon arrival, officers located a white Nissan sedan with two individuals inside.

The male driver reversed the vehicle to escape, injuring one officer in the process. He then accelerated forward, just missing a second officer on the scene. The Newberry Township Police Department has released a photo of the suspect and is urging the community to assist in identifying him.
