Demiya has debuted at Emeryville Public Market, specializing in yoshoku, or Western-influenced Japanese comfort food, available Tuesday through Sunday. La Loulou, a French wine bar located on Piedmont Ave.

, opened on May 10, offering a selection of wines from various regions and small bites like charcuterie and veggie quiches. Xiang Xiang Noodle has also opened in Alameda, providing Szechuan specialties such as hot pot and spicy wontons.
