The PBR: Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour is poised to captivate audiences at Oakland Arena on April 19, showcasing the adrenaline-fueled world of professional bull riding. Since its inception in 1992, the sport has gained traction, transitioning from traditional rodeos to a standalone competition. Among the competitors is Edgardo Figueroa, who began riding bulls in childhood and joined PBR in 2022. His passion for the sport shines through as he reminisces about watching PBR events while growing up. The PBR employs a unique scoring system that assesses both the rider's skill and the bull's performance, with a perfect score of 100 points.

Judges evaluate factors such as the bull's bucking style and the rider's control during the ride. This event is particularly significant as it serves as the season finale, where forty skilled riders will compete for a coveted spot in the championship scheduled in Corpus Christi, Texas, from May 2 to 3. The anticipation surrounding this event reflects the increasing popularity and excitement of professional bull riding.
