Oakland Style Week is returning to the Bay Area from October 9 to 13, 2024, providing a platform to celebrate the vibrant art, fashion, music, and culinary scene unique to Oakland. The opening night will feature a mixology competition, where 11 local bars will compete for the chance to create the official cocktail of the week, with a prize of $5,000 for the winning mixologist. The event promises a diverse array of activities, including fashion shows paired with high tea and dinners prepared by renowned MICHELIN-recognized restaurants. Notably, "The Art of Sneakers" exhibit will explore the intersection of sneaker culture, creativity, and social entrepreneurship from October 11 to 13. The event will culminate on October 13, but the 100 Faces of Oakland exhibit will be available to the public for the entire month, highlighting the beauty and diversity of Oakland's residents.
