The restaurant, known for its Mexican and Venezuelan dishes, had become a local favorite for celebrations and gatherings. In Emeryville, Comeback Cafe has temporarily ceased operations for July, with uncertain plans for reopening. Las Brasas, another Emeryville restaurant specializing in Peruvian cuisine, is now permanently closed. Meanwhile, Prescott Meats Deli in Oakland closed just months after its debut, leaving patrons disappointed.

Seawolf Public House, which served the Jack London Square area for nearly nine years, also closed its doors on July 19 due to lease challenges. Seawolf's owners organized events leading up to their closure to celebrate their community ties and address outstanding debts.
