The operation targeted a person wanted on a felony warrant, leading to a dramatic conclusion at Head-Royce School. Authorities employed spike strips to disable the vehicle, resulting in one suspect's capture.

Several hours of searching ensued, with helicopters, drones, and dogs combing the area for the escaped individuals. The U. S. Marshals' Service is actively working with Oakland police this summer to enhance efforts in arresting individuals with felony warrants. This collaboration aims to improve public safety and reduce violent crime in the community.
