The first shooting, which occurred on Highway 4 near Willow Pass Road in Concord, resulted in injuries to a driver. Approximately four hours later, a second shooting took place on Highway 24 near 13 in Oakland, where bullets struck a car but thankfully did not injure anyone. Following these violent events, the CHP pursued the suspect into Solano County, demonstrating their commitment to public safety. During the chase, the suspect discarded a firearm and two magazines, highlighting his attempts to evade capture.
