He recalls a pivotal moment in high school when a teacher encouraged him to pursue art seriously, shaping his creative journey. While his paintings are colorful and lively, they also convey reflective sadness, particularly in the eyes of the subjects. "There's a sad part to some of the faces," he explains, highlighting the emotional complexity of his work.

Escovedo plans to focus more on his artistic endeavors alongside his musical legacy, which includes performing with his children. The art tour will visit multiple cities in California, offering audiences a chance to see their culture reflected in his pieces. "I never thought this was possible," he shares, expressing his gratitude for the recognition of his art.
