A duplex on 78th Avenue was damaged by illegal fireworks, tragically resulting in the deaths of two dogs.

Hospitalizations occurred overnight due to injuries linked to the fireworks chaos. The fire department's proactive measures, including increased staffing, proved essential in managing the incidents. City officials are likely to review fireworks regulations following the spike in illegal activity.
