Man dies in shooting in Bloomington

A 24-year-old man was fatally shot in Bloomington on Sunday morning following an altercation outside a residence. Officers arrived at the scene around 6:45 a. m. to find the victim with multiple gunshot wounds, and he was declared dead shortly thereafter. Witnesses reported that several men had been involved in a fight before one individual drew a handgun and shot the victim multiple times.

The shooter and two other men fled the area, prompting a manhunt by local police. As of now, no arrests have been made, and investigators are working to gather more information. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office is set to release the victim's identity once notified next of kin. This incident marks another violent event in the area, raising concerns about public safety. Bloomington police urge anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation.
